The Faculty of Biological Sciences of the University of Hong Kong strives for excellence and aims to become a centre for biological research and teaching in Hong Kong and Asia.
The College was established in 2007 by the merger of the Department of Botany, the Department of Ecology and Biodiversity and the Department of Zoology.
The School's research focuses on molecular and cell biology as well as ecology and biodiversity. Its high-impact research has attracted worldwide attention, faculty, staff and graduate students have won many awards within the University and produced many distinguished alumni.
